Ralph J. Madden, 90, of Brookfield, died July 22, 2010, at his home. He was the husband of Sara (Brennan) Madden.
Mr. Madden was born Sept. 9, 1919, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of the late Joseph T. and Anna (Nowack) Madden.
He was a U. S. Navy World War II veteran.
After returning from the service, he was employed as plant engineer for Kimberly-Clark, from which he retired after numerous years of service.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Madden is survived by nine children, Kathleen M. Murphy, of New Milford, Joseph P. Madden, and his wife, Heidi, of Long Beach, Calif., Anne M. Madden, of Texas, Dennis M. Madden, of Roxbury, Brian F. Madden, of Long Island, N.Y., David P. Madden, and his wife, Lisa, of Washington, DC, Michael J. Madden, of Danbury, Martin E. Madden, and his wife, Debra, of Newtown, and Nora M. Malone, and her husband, Andrew, of New Milford; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
