The action was nearly non-stop and the competition fierce.

The scene Saturday was the St. John's Episcopal Church parish hall as New Milford Cub Scout Pack 467 hosted its all-day annual pinewood derby.

A highlight of this year's event was a morning-time, business division that attracted more than 30 local businesses to sponsor cars in their own division.

Cubmaster Todd Russell served as derby coordinator, with help from assistant Cubmasters Mark Beebe, Les Damon and Grainne Riney.
