Gunn Memorial Library on Wykeham Road in Washington will present a program, “The History of Photography,” June 30 at 6:30 p.m.

Bill Quinnell, retired professor and director of the photography program at Western Connecticut State University, will discuss the history of photography from its inception in 1827 to 1905.

The exhibit, “Between Two Worlds: The Photography of Nell Dorr,” will be open for viewing at the Gunn Historical Museum, located next door, one hour before the lecture, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The exhibit and lecture are sponsored by the Dorr Foundation.
