It was all for the fun of it... well, except for a scary moment or two here and there.

The second annual Pumpkins in the Park treated hundreds of families to a good time in preparation for Halloween Oct. 22 at Harrybrooke Park in New Milford.

Proceeds will benefit the Friends of Harrybrooke Park.

Activities included a jack-o-lantern display, vendor booths and food.

A costume parade took center stage early in the evening and was closely followed by acting and storytelling, giant puppets and a sky lantern launch.
