New Milford Public Library on Main Street will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

An adult winter reading program will kick off Jan. 6.

People who sign up will receive a tagging bookmark and will be invited to read anything for two months and note it on the log to receive a raffle ticket for every item.

Three tickets will be drawn at the end, with the prizes to be an iPad mini, a Kindle Fire and a $100 gift certificate to Bank Street Book Nook.

In addition, the FRIENDS of the Library have pledged $1,000 to buy new books.

Dr. Arthur Klein will give a presentation on how to achieve one's health goals -- discussing the key to more energy, restful sleep, clearer thinking, less stress and graceful aging -- Jan. 15 at 6:30 p.m.

The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will present a program Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m.

The program will focus on Korean cooking.

Registration is required.

The Rev. Mike Moran will present a program about the history of football Jan. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Registration is suggested.
