Public invited to library events

New Milford Public Library on Main Street will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

A screening of the movie "Back to the Future" for teens Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. (registration required).

A lecture about acupuncture, as part of the "Overall Health: Mind, Body, Spirit/New Milford Hospital's Integrative Health Program" series, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. and a lecture about how to reduce anxiety and create joy through music and yoga, as part of the "Overall Health: Mind, Body, Spirit/New Milford Hospital's Integrative Health Program" series, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m.

The library's adult reading program is up and running through Feb. 28.

To enter the raffle to win prizes, patrons must keep a list of the titles read in a log.

Prizes include a Kindle Fire, a $100 gift certificate to the Bank Street Book Nook and a $50 gift certificate to the Bank Street Theater.
