Narcan, an opiod antidote, is used to treat overdose.
Opiods include heroin, Percocet and Oxycontin.
Individuals who are using prescription opioids or heroin, or have a loved one who is, are invited to attend.
Opioids have a high overdose risk, the relapse rate is high, and overdose risk is very high during relapse.
The program is offered by the Greater Danbury AIDS Project.
Free Narcan kits will be available.
