Program to focus on long-term care

New Milford Public Library will present a program about protecting one's assets from being eaten by long-term care expenses April 2 at 6:30 p.m.
Aldo Pantano of the State of Connecticut Partnership for Long-Term Care will discuss state approved insurance from the partnership.
The program will not offer company specifics; rather, information one needs to plan ahead.
One year in a nursing home in Connecticut can cost on average of $142,000 a year.
