Gunn Memorial Library in Washington will offer a discussion and visual presentation, “Con Artist Playbook,” Wednesday at 11 a.m.

AARP volunteer Tia Murphy will lead the program at the Wykeham Road library.

Every day, millions of Americans lose their hard-earned money to identity theft, Investment fraud and other types of scams.

The program will provide an interactive look at the AARP’s Fraud Watch Network’s “Con Artist Playbook.”

Attendees will learn the techniques con artists use to steal hard earned cash; tips to protect from becoming victims; and receive up-to-date information on scams happening right in their own communities.
