The Primitive Home in New Milford is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Owners Holly and Peter Zaborowski opened their store in October 2006 at 312 Danbury Road (Route 7).
The Primitive Home offers country and primitive home décor but also has a large selection of other décor styles.
Items range from curtains, bedding, rugs, signs, lighting, kitchenware, furniture, sofas and chairs, Goatboy Soaps, local honey, candles, and unique gifts that are American made.
Holly began making her own hand-painted wooden signs that include hundreds of different sayings, as well as creating bespoke custom signs.
The couple travels to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, each month to select Amish handmade furniture directly from the builders themselves.
All store items are hand selected by Holly and then decorated in the store.
