To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone who attended and all the volunteers who made "Classic Movies In The Park" a successful inaugural series at Harrybrooke Park.

Harrybrooke, which is a private park, was left as a gift to the residents of New Milford by Frank A. Hardin in 1965.

In order to continue maintaining this beautiful peaceful and serene park, we need volunteers and the generous donations which have and will hopefully be made in the future.

It is in this spirit Harrybrooke Park will be planning weekly events in the summer months, along with our classic movies series, we will also bring you "Concerts in the Park."

We hope local musicians will join us in showcasing their talents to audiences at Harrybrooke.

Our classic movies have already attracted audiences who appreciate watching movies projected on a giant 12- by 16-foot screen in the format for which they were originally intended.

These events will take place in the peaceful surroundings and gorgeous gardens of what has become one of the most beautiful parks in Connecticut.
