To the Editor:
This past July 13 marked more than 50 years the Green Fair has been held on the Washington Green.
This is truly a community event with members of the First Congregational Church and other townspeople volunteering hundreds of hours in preparation, execution and cleanup.
Thank you to all volunteers who helped make the fair a success.
Thank you, especially, to our partner, the Gunnery School and to our underwriters, Ericson Agency, the Mathews Group, Washington Brotherhood, Trevenen and Coploff and Princeton Property Partners for their generous monetary donations.
This allowed more income from the fair to go toward maintaining the historic meeting house and associated buildings and grounds.
