`Potential' to open at Washington library

The Stairwell Gallery at Gunn Memorial Library in Washington will present an exhibit, "Potential," Sept. 21 through Nov. 16, featuring a reception Sept. 28 from noon to 2 p.m.

The show will feature the work of Mary Terrizzi and Naya Bricher.

The Wykeham Road library is open Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call 860-868-7586.

`Cuts for Caleb' on tap at EnVogue Salon

EnVogue Salon on Bank Street in New Milford will hold a "Cuts for Caleb" fundraiser Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The event will support local resident Caleb Gaylord, 12, who is battling AML leukemia.

Offerings will be haircuts, $20; a blow dry, $10; drawings for assorted baskets, and hot dogs.

Only cash will be accepted at the event.

Tag sale set at Templeton Farm in Kent

Templeton Farm Apartments in Kent will hold a tag sale Sept. 20-21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Miscellaneous household items will be sold at the Swifts Lane housing complex.
