Pleased with response to 'senior spring social'

To the Editor:

The recreation directors of Kent, Cornwall, Salisbury and Sharon would like to thank the senior citizens of the Region One towns who attended the May 4 senior spring social.

We would like to recognize and thank Salisbury School, the Litchfield Community Center, Harney and Sons Fine Tea, Roaring Oaks Florist, Deano's Pizza, the town of Salisbury and the Cornwall, Kent and Sharon recreation departments for their contributions.

Also, we appreciate donations from the House of Books, Laigle Floor Covering, Erin Hedden and Hedden Forest Products, Hurlburt Farm and Forestry Inc. and Salisbury Recreation Department for the door prizes.

We look forward to working together again to organize more regional senior events and hope to see many of our new friends again soon.
