The Roxbury-Bridgewater Garden Club will host its annual plant mart Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Bridgewater.
The sale, which will take place on the lawn of the firehouse on Route 133, will feature organic vegetable plants grown from seed by members, and herbs, succulents and perennials from members' gardens and the gardens of local residents.
In addition, hand tools, garden ornaments and eclectic items will be sold in the garden boutique.
An education booth will offer handouts on sustainable landscaping for birds, bees, and butterflies, a selection of prime pollinator plants, and an invasive plant display.
Participating in the event for the first time will be the Junior Garden Club of Burnham School, offering advice and lemonade at the hospitality table.
The event is a major fundraiser that supports the group's scholarship and community outreach programs.
