Mrs. Bickelhaupt was active with women's softball in the Danbury area for many years. She enjoyed football and was a Redskins fan.
She enjoyed crafts, ceramics and bird watching. She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Mrs. Bickelhaupt is survived by two sons, Thomas Bickelhaupt, and his wife, Veronica, of Woodbury, and Donald Bickelhaupt, of Brookfield; two daughters, Karen Dodd, and her husband, Mike, of New Milford, and Cindy Gilbert, of Brookfield, and her boyfriend, Frank Flanagan; 11 grandchildren, Paul, Rachel, Thomas, Taylor, Patricia, Michael, Stephen, Christopher, Jaimie, Meagan and Matthew; two great-grandchildren, Troy and Kamryn; a brother, Ronald Gore, of New Milford; two sisters, Linda Mazza, of Bethel, and Beverly Toth, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jack, Richard, Robert Jr. and Helen.
The Green Funeral Home of Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
