Harrybrooke Park in New Milford will play host to the third annual “Harrybrooke Park After Dark Haunted Trail and Mansion” Oct. 21-22 and 28-29.
The trail will be open at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 100 Still River Drive.
The event will be held with several partners: the New Milford Lions, the Woman’s Club of Greater New Milford, the Northville Volunteer Fire Department, the Garden Club of New Milford, the Knights of Columbus and Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary.
The Halloween-themed event is not recommended for people who cannot walk a long distance, be near a strobe light or for children under 12. “This event has been good and very scary in the past, but every organization has stepped up their game this year,” said Billy Buckbee, park executive director.
“It’ll be really very scary and longer than ever before,” he said.
Buckbee emphasized that “parents should truly think twice before bringing young kids here.”
Tickets are $13 and include a beverage at the end of the trail.
