Notes in Woods set in Warren

The Warren Public Library will present its annual "Notes in the Woods," a benefit concert for the library, Aug. 4 at 5 p.m.

The rain or shine event will be held at Warren Woods on Brick School Road.

Music will be performed by the Litchfield Hills Pipe Band, Stone Cold Blue, the Well Educated Men, Mark Elkins and the Blue Yodels.

Baked dessert items, sweet corn and watermelon will available to buy.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic basket and blanket. Admission is $10 per person or $30 per family, with proceeds to benefit the library.
