The Washington Friends of Music of the New Baroque Soloists will hold its annual New Year's Day concert Jan. 1 at 4 p.m.

The concert, under the direction of Doug Myers, will be held at the First Congregational Church on the Green in Washington.

The group recently renamed the Washington Friends of Music.

The 2013 officers include co-presidents Hermann Tammen and Charles Raskob Robinson, co-vice presidents Jayne Bentzen and Sari Max-Fiss, treasurer Thomas Daniels, secretary Waltraud Tammen, artistic director Douglas Myers and publicist Joseph A. Mustich.

A champagne reception with the musicians will follow.

Tickets are $35 for general admission and $5 for students with ID.
