New Milford man held on multiple charges

A New Milford man was being held on bonds totaling more than $135,000 after being extradited from Wisconsin to face criminal charges dating to 2006.

Danbury police traveled to Wisconsin the weekend of Sept. 15-16 to pick up Mervin Bundy, 38, of Kent Road, who has racked up failure to appear in court charges in six separate cases, including burglary, possession of narcotics and violation of probation.

Court records indicate the alleged crimes took place in Danbury, New Milford and Brookfield, and occurred between 2006 and earlier this year.
