Registration is under way for many programs offered by the New Milford Parks & Recreation Department.

Registration for all programs is under way.

Dog waste

Dog owners who visit the Village Green or other town parks are reminded to pick up after their pets. Dog waste is unsightly and can spread disease. Owners should carry plastic bags to clean up after pets.

YOUTH

Fall soccer

Signup is still open for youths in grades K-6 for Saturday sessions meeting from Sept. 8 to Nov. 3 at the Northville School fields. Cost will be $40. Registrants after Aug. 24 might not receive a T-shirt.

FAMILY

Yankees baseball

A Sept. 16 bus trip to The Bronx, N.Y., to see the New York Yankees play the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium will depart the Patriots' Way parking lot at 9 a.m. and return after the game. Cost of $73 will include transportation and ticket.
