Dog owners who visit the Village Green or other town parks are reminded to pick up after their pets.
Dog waste is unsightly and can spread disease. Owners should carry plastic bags to clean up after pets.
Hot Shot Hoop
Sessions will meet July 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sarah Noble School for youths aged 7-13 at the cost of $150.
Sports Squirts camp
Sessions will meet July 16-20 for children aged 3-4 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the cost of $69 and for children aged 4-5 from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. at the cost of $99 at the cost of $69 at Young's Field.

Aspiring dancers learn the fundamentals of hip hop/jazz with age-appropriate movement and music.
Those aged 5-6 will meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and those aged 7-8 will meet from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. through Aug. 16 at the New Milford Parks & Recreation office.
Cost will be $45.
The town park on Candlewood Lake is open for the season.
Residents/taxpayers may purchase a vehicle pass for $45 with proof of residency or paid tax bills from the town.
Boat launch stickers are $115. Stickers are required of every boat/jet ski, with proof of residency or paid tax bill.
Day passes are $5 for residents and $20 for non-residents per person, per day.
Day passes can only be purchased Mondays to Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Milford Parks & Recreation office at 47 Bridge Street.
No day passes are sold at the gate and walk-ins are not admitted.
A limited number of boat slips are still available.
