More than 200 area business folks and their guests celebrated in style Jan. 28 at the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce's 14th annual Crystal Winter Gala.

The black-tie optional event was held at the Candlewood Inn in Brookfield.

The evening started at 7 p.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner and dancing, with music provided by the band Higher & Higher.

Highlighting the evening was the presentation to New Milford resident Ray Crawford of the Chamber's Lifetime Achievement award.

YardApes Landscaping was the recipient of the Large Business award and Nicholas/Tobin Insurance earned the Small Business Award.

Vin Nolan, the former economic development supervisor for New Milford, was honored in absentia with the Chamber's individual award. Mayor Pat Murphy accepted on Mr. Nolan's behalf.

For more information, call the Chamber office at 860-354-6080 or email nmcc@newmilford-chamber.com.
