Neuza Nazareth Harris, 56, of Coconut Creek, Fla., formerly of New Milford and Danbury, died Dec. 12 in Pompano Beach, Fla., as a result of injuries sustained in an Amtrak/motor vehicle accident. She was the wife of the late Norman D. Harris.

Mrs. Harris was born March 29, 1956, in Brazil, a daughter of the late Mario Candido and Maria Francesca DeOliveira. She attended schools in Brazil.

A Danbury-area resident since 1986, when she moved there from Brazil, she relocated to Florida shortly after the death of her husband two-and- a-half years ago.

As an area resident, she was employed with the Risdon Corp. in Danbury and the Hubbell Corp. in Newtown.

Prior to relocating to Florida, Mrs. Harris was employed at Maplewood of Danbury as a certified nurse's assistant.

She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Brookfield and Faith Church in New Milford.

Mrs. Harris is survived by two sons, Juliano Nazareth, and his wife, Poliana, of Danbury; and Esdras Nazareth, of San Diego; a daughter, Daniela Batista, and her husband, Renato, of Danbury; a brother, Mauricio Oliveira, of Danbury; a sister, Sonia Arujo, of Danbury; four grandchildren and three nieces.

Interment was at Wooster Cemetery in Danbury.

The Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home in Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
