A Housatonic Natural Wellness Fair will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the south end of the Village Green in New Milford.

More than 30 local businesses will participate as vendors, workshop hosts, and presenters who support our community by providing services and products that enhance lives in holistic ways.

Offerings will include free services, workshops, kid's activities, local farm fresh food, music, shopping, drum circles, lectures and more at the rain or shine event.

The lineup includes a drum circle at 11 a.m.; a welcome from Alexandra Catchpole, event coordinator and owner of Ancient Luna Healing, at 11:30 a.m.; Tai Chi and Qigong class with Dee Calvey at noon; an “Our Land, Our Water, Our Life” lecture by Richard Sears, development director of the Housatonic Valley Association at 12:30 p.m.; a singing bowl concert by Barrie Sachs, owner of Happy Rainbows, at 1 p.m.; a Pilobolus family movement together workshop with Emily Kent at 1:30 p.m.; a hula hoop dance workshop with Arvolyn Hill of Gold Feather Hoops and Elizabeth Anderson of Huckleberry Hoops at 2 p.m.; a “Lose Weight the Healthy Weight” lecture with Julie Conner, owner of Healthy Weighs Wellness Center, at 2:30 p.m.; an intro to yoga class with Anne Hungerford of ah Yoga and Wellness Center, at 3 p.m.; a raffle drawing at 3:30 p.m.; and a closing drum circle at 3:45 p.m.
