New Milford Public Library offers two evening book discussion groups.
One group, led by resident Abby Ripley, reads general choices of literary value and meets the first Monday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The other group, led by resident Marilyn Gunerman, reads science fiction and meets the third Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m.
Both groups are limited to 10 people, and the library provides the books.
