A talented corps of senior artists from New Milford High School unveiled their finest work recently for a three-day show at the railroad station.

The event was NMHS’ 26th annual senior art show.

The art festival opened May 22 with a reception featuring refreshments, music and time for the artists to meet with attendees.

Featured artists displayed a body of work completed throughout their high school career, and numerous other teen artists also exhibited their creations.

The event was directed for the first time by longtime NMHS art teacher Kristi Soucie.

She replaced Paula Marian, an NMHS faculty member who retired in 2014 after guiding both the senior art show and the Cut, Paste & Copy program for a quarter-century.
