Washington Montessori School will offer a parent-child program and positive discipline classes for parents in the coming weeks.

The parent-child program, geared toward parents/caregivers of children ages birth to 18 months, will meet Fridays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. beginning Oct. 2 and running for eight weeks. The cost is $96.

The positive discipline class will meet Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. beginning Sept. 28 and running for seven weeks.

Classes are free.

A parent-ed discussion, “Caring for Your Aging Parents,” will be held Oct. 20 at 8:45 a.m.

Michael Gold of the Senior Care Resources Group will discuss solutions to helping seniors.

A program, “The Voyage: A Hands-on Introduction to Washington Montessori School,” will be held Nov. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Attendees will assume the role of students, beginning at the toddler level and progressing up through the lower school, lower and upper elementary levels and ending at the middle school stage.
