Mildred Rasor, 92, of Brookfield, died June 29, 2010, at Bethel Health Care Center. She was the widow of William Rasor.

Mrs. Rasor was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Mancos, Colo., daughter of the late Soren and Mildred (Rutledge) Jensen.

She worked as a manager for Holton Travel on White Street in Danbury from 1972 until her retirement in 2003.

She was a member of the Congregational Church of Brookfield, where she was active in the Auxiliary Club.

Mrs. Rasor was a past officer of the Brookfield Woman's Business and Professional Association and the Candlewood Woman's Auxiliary Fire Department and was a past den mother for Boy Scouts of America.

Mrs. Rasor is survived by a grandson, Christopher Rasor, of New Milford; a sister, Arlene Stevlingson, of Boise, Idaho; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Rasor, of New Milford. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Robert Rasor; and a grandson, Stephen Rasor.

The Brookfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
