Minor Memorial Library in Roxbury will present a program with Tovah Martin, Roxbury horticulturist, photographer and writer, Saturday at 1 p.m.

Martin will talk about her new book, “The Indestructible Houseplant: 200 Beautiful, Easy-Care Plants that Everyone Can Grow,” at the South Street library.

Books will be available to buy and refreshments will be served.

Martin teaches houseplant cultivation to master gardeners and lectures extensively throughout the country.

She has written more than a dozen gardening books, served as garden editor for “Victoria” magazine and was named the new Victoria’s Writer in Residence for 2012.

In addition, her articles appear in a broad range of magazines and periodicals.

Martin is an accredited Organic Land Care Professional through NOFA.
