Marjorie May (Golder) Davis, 90, formerly of Danbury, died Aug. 31, 2011, in Trenton City, N.J. She was the widow of Ronald S. Davis.
She was born May 22, 1921, in Danbury, daughter of the late Andrew and Iretta (Smith) Golder.
Mrs. Davis worked as a court stenographer in the Danbury court system and later as a legal secretary for local attorneys.
She had been a member of the Advent Christian Church in Danbury and for many years volunteered for charitable organizations.
Mrs. Davis is survived by a son, Jonathan Clay Davis, and his wife, Patricia, of Beacon Falls; three daughters, Cynthia Lathrop, and her husband, John, of Newtonville, Mass., Penny Wasylyk. and her husband, John. of Yardville, N.J.. and Valerie Barkal. and her husband, Thomas. of New Milford; a sister, Blanche Durant of Aiken, S.C.; 15 grandchildren, Michelle Greenfield, Jonathan and Timothy Davis, Allison and Kristen Walker, Carrie, Deborah, Joshua, Stephen and Daniel Lathrop, Sean, Evan and Sara Wasylyk, Tommy and Holly Barkal; four great-grandchildren, Luke Greenfield, Madisyn Lathrop, and Vanessa and Jeffrey DeMaio; and several nieces and nephews.
The Hull Funeral Home in Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
