MOMIX to perform this month

The Washington Environmental Council will present MOMIX in a program Oct. 19-20 at 7:30 p.m. in Washington.

The event, which will be held at Shepaug Valley High School on South Street, is a benefit for the council's college scholarship program for environmental studies.

The world renowned dance-illusionist group will perform past audience favorites and preview some of their new works in the "Best of MOMIX."

The performances will cover a wide range of musical scores and dances that showcase MOMIX's performers, with costumes, projections and custom-made props and puppetry.

Tickets are $35. Reserved seating is $50.
