Local artists sale to support AWS

The Local Artists Crafts Group, which serves the Greater New Milford area, will hold its holiday sale Nov. 25-27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in New Milford.
The event, which will feature handcrafted in America goods by local artists, will take place at the railroad station on Railroad Street.
A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Animal Welfare Society, Inc. based in New Milford, which serves the towns of New Milford, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Roxbury and Washington.
The group of local artisans includes fused glass by Linda Banks, handmade artisan jewelry of stone and previous metal clay by Cynthia Battista handwoven clothing and handpainted silk scarves by Celeste Bellemare, photography by Don Turner, pottery by Jan Lesnikoski, Ridge Runner handcrafted soap by Reese Piper, handmade bags of recycled materials by Sean Kinney and metal crafts by Chris Doherty.
