Kent Memorial Library in Kent will offer a variety of special programs in the coming weeks.

John Belfontaine, a circus artists from Gaylordsville, will speak about and sign copies of his recently published book, "The Art of Belfontaine: A Retrospective," Sept. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m.

A reception will follow.

A program, "Icons As A Window To This World: Exploring Russia, Bulgaria and Romania," with Dr. Joseph Baxer will be held Sept. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Dr. Joseph Baxer and his wife Barbara Bacewicz recently immersed themselves in the cultural and historical aspects of Russia, Bulgaria and Romania, where they visited the people and noted museums and UNESCO sites.

An introduction to "Money Matters for Women" will be held Sept. 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Crystal Girgenti will address and answer questions about social media issues during the program "How to Take Your Social Media Accounts from Cobwebs to Cashcow" Sept. 19 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
