New Milford Public Library has announced public availability of thousands of movies, television shows, music albums, ebooks, audiobooks and comics, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla digital (hoopladigital.com).
New Milford Library card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or iOS device or visit hoopladigital.com.
“We strive to be an integral resource for our community,” Library Director Mark P. Hasskarl said. “This is done in part through partnerships like our new relationship with hoopla digital.
“Our patrons can now instantly stream from a collection of thousands of new and old titles to their devices,” said Sally Tornow, public services librarian.
All content is available via hoopla digital’s mobile app, which can be downloaded at Amazon, the Apple App Store and Google Play, and online at hoopladigital.com.
Once a patron borrows a title on one device, it is automatically available via all devices with the hoopla digital app and PC web browsers.
When using hoopla, patrons can stream content immediately or download to view at a later date.
Patrons can borrow seven free titles per month.
Movies and TV shows are borrowed for three days, music for seven days, and ebooks, audiobooks and comics for 21 days.
