Liam Gorman, 54, of New Milford, died June 25 at his home.

Mr. Gorman was born Aug. 28, 1957, son of Frank and Joan (Morton) Gorman.

He attended Wilton High School and was a graduate of Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Denver, where he studied to be a mechanic.

Mr. Gorman loved anything automotive and mechanical and was a member of the Norwalk Karting Association.

He is survived by a daughter, Jill Gorman, of Kent; his companion, Bernice Stine, of Danbury; two brothers, Sean Gorman, of Chesapeake, Va., and Hugh Gorman, of Woodbury; a sister, Christina Tenney, of Clermont, Fla.; an aunt, Ann C. Morton, of Chesapeake; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

There will be a private family ceremony.

The Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford is in charge of arrangements.
