"In My Life: The John Lennon Tribute" will be performed Saturday, April 25 at 8 p.m. at New Milford High School as a fundraiser for TheatreWorks New Milford.

The show will recreate the sounds, stories and songs of John Lennon as performed by Carlo Cantamessa. He has portrayed the role of Lennon in The Cast of Beatlemania shows for more than 30 years.

The event will also feature local resident James Filgate, who has portrayed the role of Beatle George Harrison in The Cast of Beatlemania for 13 years.

Refreshments will be sold and a silent auction will be offered with baskets donated by regional organizations and businesses, such as Club 24, Breathe Peace Massage, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the White Horse Country Pub & Restaurant, NaturaLawn of America Newtown, the Ives Center and Chuck's Steakhouse.

Proceeds will benefit TheatreWorks New Milford, a non-profit organization, located at 5 Brookside Avenue in New Milford which in 2014 was named by Connecticut Magazine as the the best community theater in the state.
