Gunn Historical Museum in Washington will present a three-part lecture series on the history of Sweden June 11, 18 and 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Gunn Memorial Library on Wykeham Road.

Scandanavian scholar Carol Skog will discuss the Glacial Age to the Vikings June 11, the development of the Swedish empire and the royal family June 18 and the Swedish immigrant period and Swedish culture, customs and traditions June 25.

The exhibit "Coming to America: Washington's Swedish Immigrants" will be open for viewing at the museum, next to the library, before the lectures.
