The Eric Sloane Museum in Kent will present a talk on the history of the Stanley Works, now known as the Stanley Black and Decker, of New Britain July 14 at 1 p.m.
Karen Winslow Hudkins, museum administrator at the New Britain Industrial Museum, will discuss the company's long record of manufacturing tools and hardware sinec 1843.
The lecture will be included in the price of admission at the Kent museum at 31 Kent-Cornwall Road (Route 7 North).
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children 6 to 17.
