To the Editor:

On behalf of Dream Come True of Western Connecticut, I would like to thank Tasty Waves of New Milford for supporting us with the July 11 fundraiser.

Through its participation, we were able to raise funds that will go directly to help fulfill dreams for future Dream Children.

Additionally, we were able to raise awareness of the organization.

Dream Come True is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, with the mission to grant dreams to seriously, chronically, and terminally ill children from Litchfield, Fairfield and New Haven counties.

Dream Come True has made more than 250 dreams come true in Western Connecticut for terminally ill children diagnosed with a range of chronic and terminal illnesses, including childhood cancers, genetic illnesses and complications from birth trauma.

Of course, we must also thank you, the members of the community, who attended the event.

Dream Come True is dependent on individual donations, business sponsorships, corporate giving, grants, planned giving, memorial tributes and various fund raising events.

Dream Come True is not part of a larger organization, nor a member of United Way.
