The junior library at Gunn Memorial Library in Washington is offering several programs and winter story times.

Events will include “Take Your Child to the Library Day,” featuring a craft project, scavenger hunt and more, Feb. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; a Valentine’s craft Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a Star Wars Jedi Academy Feb. 20 from 1 to 2 p.m.; and fairy house making Feb. 27 from 1 to 2 p.m.

In addition, story times are offered Fridays at 10:30 a.m. for 2-year-old children and their caregivers and Fridays at 2:15 p.m. for 3- and 4-year-old children, Feb. 12 through April 15.

School age children are invited to after-school Story Craft.

Students in kindergarten and first grade will meet Tuesdays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Feb. 9 through April 12, and students in second and third grade will meet Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. Feb. 11 through April 14.

Both programs will offer stories, crafts, activities and snack.

Registration is recommended to ensure adequate supplies.

Washington Primary School students may take the bus to the library with a note given to the school in advance.

Programs will not be held when Region 12 schools are closed.
