Kent library announces programs

The Kent Memorial Library on Main Street in Kent has announced its upcoming offerings.

Children's offerings will include a Dr. Seuss story hour for children ages 3 to 8 March 2 at 10:30 a.m. (registration required); a screening of "Twilight Breaking Dawn, Part 2" for children in grades 5 and up March 9 at 7 p.m. (registration required); and a family dinner and screening of "Rise of the Guardians" March 15 at 6 p.m. (registration required).

Offerings for young adults will include the Nutmeg Discussion Group March 14 at 3:30 p.m. (registration required).

Weekly events for children will include Rhythm and Ryhme for children ages birth to 3 Tuesdays at 10:45 a.m. and Lunch Bunch for all ages Thursdays at 12:15 p.m.

Ongoing events for all ages include a monthly poetry workshop the third Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. and a monthly Chess Club the third Saturday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m.

Adults are invited to a weekly yoga class Saturdays at 8:30 a.m.
