The Kent Park and Recreation Department is offering a variety of programs.

Office hours on the second floor at town hall are Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Program registration forms are available outside the office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ice skating

Ice skating is available at Kent and South Kent schools during the holidays and this winter.

A park pass is required to participate and can be purchased at the rink during skating hours or in the Park and Recreation office at town hall. Passes are $35 for Kent residents; $65 for non-residents or $5/day/person; and free to Kent residents aged 65 and older.

Participants must wear hat and skates on the ice during open skate and skates and helmet for sticks and pucks.

Skating is available at Kent School on Dec. 23, 26, 28, 30 from 10 a.m. to noon for sticks and pucks and from 12:30 to 2:30 for open skate;

Open skating will be offered Sundays at South Kent School on Jan. 8 and Jan. 15 from noon to 2 p.m.; Jan. 22 from 3 to 5 p.m.; Jan. 29, Feb. 5, 12 and 19 from noon to 2 p.m.; and Feb. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m.
