Kathleen Frances Weldon, 82, of Ansonia, died May 15 at Griffin Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Weldon.

Mrs. Weldon was born Jan. 30, 1930, in New Milford, daughter of the late Albert and Nora (Lynch) Dickinson.

She was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption, and a graduate of New Milford High School.

Mrs. Weldon was employed as a nurse's aide for 25 years in the newborn specialty care unit at Yale-New Haven Hospital for babies from ages 3 days to 3.

She is survived by three sons, Kendell, and his wife, Jody Weldon, of Shelton, Kevin Weldon, of Southbury, and Kirk "Michael," and his wife, Tina Weldon, of Seymour; two daughters, Kim, and her husband, Mike Morey, of Ansonia, and Kathryn Wermuth, of Ansonia; a brother, Daniel, and his wife, Lillian Dickinson, of New Milford; a sister, Phobe Brulotte, of East Haven; nine grandchildren, Tim Weldon, Dana O'Brien, Cory Weldon, U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Gerald Morey, Shauna Morey, Brianna Weldon, Jason Wermuth, James Brown, and Jordan Brown; seven great-grandchildren, Hope Weldon, Grace Weldon, Makayla O'Brien, Liam O'Brien, Tristan O'Brien, Kiara Morey and Ainhoa Ferrandis-Morey; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six brothers, Albert, Alec, Donald, Robert, Charles, and Joseph Dickinson; and three sisters, Sister Alice Dickinson, Mary Fogarassy and Helen Dickinson.

The Bennett Funeral Home of Ansonia was in charge of arrangements.
