Junior Achievement of Western Connecticut is seeking volunteers at Hill and Plain School in New Milford.

Junior Achievement is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices.

JA programs are delivered by corporate and community volunteers, and provide relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.

The program will provide training and curriculum.

Volunteers will present five, 45-minute activities, typically once a week, in a classroom during the school day. All volunteers must be fingerprinted by the New Milford Board of Education.
