June Knapp, had a son in New Milford

June Marie Knapp, a 31-year resident of Southbury, died Feb. 28, 2010.

The daughter of the late Susanna (Kirkabee) Lundvall and Russell Lundvall, Mrs. Knapp grew up in Ansonia.

Mrs. Knapp was a graduate of Post University and was a 27-year employee at the town of Southbury.

Mrs. Knapp is survived by two sons, James A. Gilbert Jr., and his wife, Leeann, of New Milford, and Russell Lundvall Gilbert, and his wife, Kathy, of Crandal, Texas; four grandchildren, Clayton Young, Patric Gilbert, Russell Gilbert Jr. and Brandon Gilbert; a sister, Donna Grossman; a brother-in-law, Bill French; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Carol French.

A private graveside service will be held in the summer.

The Southbury Funeral Home of MunsonLovetere was in charge of arrangements.
