Judith E. (Fecarotta) Moskowitz, 64, of New Milford, died at her home June 30, 2010. She was the wife of Morris A. Moskowitz.

Mrs. Moskowitz was born Sept. 30, 1945, in Chicago, to the late Frank C. and the late Eloise Fecarotta. She graduated from Danbury High School in 1963.

Mrs. Moskowitz worked as a nurse's aid at the former New Milford Nursing Home for many years and was a President's Club Avon representative for nearly 30 years.

Her passions included reading, solving crossword puzzles, music, cooking, traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, and most recently, communicating with loved ones on Facebook.

Above all else, she loved visits from her family and friends, especially from her grandchildren, 8-year-old Hannah and 2-year-old Elijah.

Mrs. Moskowitz was known for her generous spirit, quick wit and ability to ease difficult situations with comic relief.

In addition to her husband and grandchildren, Mrs. Moskowitz is survived by a daughter, Cynthia L. (Moskowitz) Benno, of Southbury; a son, David M. Moskowitz, of Torrington; a daughter-in-law, Katrin Moskowitz, a son-in-law, Todd Benno; a brother, Joseph M. Fecarotta, of Danbury; a sister-in-law, Patricia Fecarotta, of Danbury; a sister, Louanna Fecarotta, of Danbury; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held today (Friday) at noon at Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge St., New Milford, followed by a memorial service at noon.
