Jane Elizabeth (Raymond) Light, 88, formerly of Bethel, died June 27, 2010, at Pope John Paul II Center for Health Care in Danbury. She was the widow of Milton O. Light Sr.

Mrs. Light was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Danbury, daughter of the late Earl and Mabel (Eggleston) Raymond.

She was a graduate of Danbury High School and worked for several years at National Semi Conductor in Danbury.

She and her late husband taught ballroom dancing and she enjoyed photography, sewing, knitting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Light is survived by two sons, Richard L. Light, and his wife, Patricia, of New Milford, and Milton O. Light Jr., and his wife, Debbie, of Bethel; a former daughter-in-law, Mary (Fanelli) Light, of Brookfield; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Light) Nichol, Robert Light, Mathew Light, and Tracianna Light; nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Ronald C. Light; and a sister, Ethel Simone.

There are no calling hours.

The Hull Funeral Service of Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
