Jane Casey, 82, loved to bake for her family

Jane T. Casey, 82, of Danbury, died April 29 at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Casey was born Nov. 9, 1928, in The Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late Patrick and Elizabeth Kelly (Twomey). She had lived in Danbury since 1965.
She loved to bake for her family, and every holiday included Grandma's famous brownies and cookies.
Mrs. Casey was a kind and caring woman, who had a terrific sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Casey, and his wife, Catherine, of New Milford, and Michael Casey, and his wife, Caryn, of Sandy Hook; a daughter, Cathleen M. Hoppe, and her husband, Gary, of Hopkinton, Mass.; a sister, Kathleen Fahey, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a brother, John Twomey, of Enfield; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Casey was predeceased by her husband, John J. Casey Sr.; two sons, Thomas, and John J. Casey Jr.; and a brother, Patrick Twomey.
The Green Funeral Home of Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
