James Flynn, 84, was member of Odd Fellows

James C. Flynn, 84, of New Fairfield, died Feb. 28 at his home. He was the husband of Barbara Douskey Flynn.
He was a dairy farmer in Connecticut and a school bus driver in New Fairfield for 11 years, retiring in 2004.
Mr. Flynn was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 65 in New Milford, the American Rodeo Association and the Future Farmers of America, and a donor to the Disabled American Veterans for more than 50 years.
In addition to his wife of 54 years, Mr. Flynn is survived by a son, Michael, and his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Roberta and Suzanne, and her husband, David; a brother, Gerald P. Flynn; a sister, Patricia J. Flynn Pennell; nine grandchildren, Joseph, and his wife Emily, Michael, Theresa, Anthony, Christopher, Nicholas, Allison, Lauren and Stephen; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Jasper.
The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
